Have you ever suddenly felt as if the entire world was spinning, and you couldn’t control it? Do you feel nausea and can’t balance properly? This is caused by vertigo. Most cases are caused by inner ear dysfunction and can be helped quickly by vestibular physiotherapy.

Vertigo creates the illusion of movement. Normally the brain identifies you are moving by using signals from your eyes, inner ear, and receptors that sense body movement. When vestibular (inner ear) signals are affected, people feel the world moves around them even when they could be completely still.

Our physiotherapists can aid you by using specific techniques to treat vertigo. Common vertigo conditions we treat are BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), labyrinthitis, vestibular neuritis, and vestibular ocular dysfunction.

We understand dealing with vertigo is worrying and it’s hard to trust your regular movements. We come directly to our patient’s homes and treat on the spot. The treatment will depend on the patient’s presentation and will be performed safely on a massage table. In most cases the treatment is highly effective, 80% of cases only requiring only one treatment.

We have had over five years of clinical experience managing vertigo and are highly equipped in treating it competently and quickly. We understand it completely throws you out and stops you from living your normal life. We know it ramps up anxiety and sheer levels of frustration. Because of this we want to get rid of it quickly for you.

Book in. Get it sorted. Get back to the things you love doing.
